Product pixel targets here are typical starting points at 300 DPI, not any one platform's official template. Printify, Printful and similar services update exact requirements by product and supplier — always confirm the current spec sheet before a final upload.

Color mode: most POD platforms want RGB, not CMYK. Unlike a traditional print shop, Printful's own file guide specifies standard RGB (sRGB) for apparel and other POD products, because their printers are tuned for RGB input — converting to CMYK first can work against you here. If you're prepping a file for a print-on-demand platform specifically, skip the CMYK Converter and keep your file in RGB.

Check	What it means
Aspect ratio	Whether your design's proportions match the product template, or will need cropping/extending. Ratio off? Our free Aspect Ratio Cropper fixes that without distorting the art.
Resolution	Whether your pixel dimensions meet the template's target size at 300 DPI.
Transparency	For products that need an isolated design: whether the file actually has a transparent background, and whether the cutout edge looks clean or soft.
